Organizational structure:
Summary:
The General Planning Department (since 1985 after Center for Traumatology-Orthopedic was formed); is one of the most important functional departments of the hospital which has a responsibility to assist hospital director in organization, implementation and supervision of professional work of hospital.
Current human resources:
15 staff, of which: 08 doctors, 11 staff of university level.
Professional activities:
1. Guiding departments to make plans for carrying out hospital activities;
2. Organizing, following up, supervising and speeding up, checking, appreciating effectiveness of implementing plans, regulations of hospital in order to report the director for consideration and direction;
3. Coordinating with related departments to organize continuing medical education for hospital staff and staff of other hospitals. Coordinating medical schools such as Pharmacy and Medical University, Medical College, … to organize practices for medical students in the hospital;
4. Organizing coordination between centers and departments in the hospital, between the hospital and related organizations to enhance effectiveness of health care of hospital;
5. Coordinating with clinical Departments to give directions and assistances in technical profession to downline hospitals;
6. Ensuring the archive, statistics and medical records;
7. Organizing the reception of citizens and standing on duty in the whole hospital;
8. Building a masterplan of developing techniques and medical professions of hospital to be submitted to the director for consideration and to the Ministry of Health for approval;
9. Periodically reviewing the therapy work, then reporting to the director and the Ministry of Health.

Development direction:
- Continue completing regular tasks with high quality;
- Continue building procedures and therapy protocols of departments and centers aiming at perfecting basic therapy protocols in the whole hospital;
- Coordinate with Quality Management Department to set up a regular activities plan in detail, contents of regular and sudden inspection at departments and centers as per the quality criteria set issued by the Ministry of Health;
- Standarize the General Statistics Division, enhance capacity and professionalize statistic staff to meet requirements of new responsibility;
- Ensure provision of data, medical records and serve timely for scientific research, dissertations, theses of students and therapy tasks;
- Supervise and report epidemics timely. Coordinate with functional agencies to control and threaten epidemics
- Actively participate in the promotion of movement of medical ethics, implementation of behavior rules in the hospital and plans to "Innovate style, attitude of health workers towards serving the satisfaction of the patients"
