Quality Assurance Department was established according to the decision No. 1101/QĐ – BVCTCH/TCCB signed by the HTO’s Director and issued on 31/03/2014. The Department is under the direct management of the Board of Directors.

- Acting as a deploying unit and consulting the hospital Director, the hospital quality assurance Council about the operation of hospital quality management system.
- Develop plans and contents for quality management activities within the hospital and present them to the Director for approval.
- Implementing, monitoring, supervising, evaluating, and deploying the activities on quality assurance schemes to improve quality in all departments.
- Establishing a management system of errors and medical adverse events, which includes the identification, collection, analysis, reporting and research, propose solutions for preventable adverse events.
- Coordinating with the other departments to resolve petitions, denunciations and to establish the patient satisfaction index for the hospital.
- Collecting, synthesizing, analysing, managing and securing information related to hospital quality. Coordinating with statistics division and IT Department to issue the hospital quality index.
- Assessing the hospital quality based on the set of Vietnamese hospital quality criteria issued by the Ministry of Health.
- Developing and deploying the patient safety program.
- Establishing divisions such as: Board of Treatment Regimen, Board of Patient Safety; Board of Environment Safety and security; Board of Patient Satisfaction Survey; Board of Information Technology Application.
Reaching the quality standard in resolving all the quality assurance issues.
Completing all the task set by the Board of Directors.
Combining harmoniously with the other departments to unite to build HTO as a big family.
